The effort to me was the most important. Kobe can do wonders for a kid who wants to work hard. The way he challenges players to better themselves and then come at him strong? I think that's why we liked Douglas-Roberts and why I think someone like Selby can do well.

Look at guys like Ariza and Brown as examples of what I'm hoping for...

Well 'Antoni said in his interview during the game that to fill our roster we are looking at a few guys, and are hoping to find one in the summer league. So if that's true, and Selby really shows us something from here on out, I see no harm in giving him a shot. Hell we have DJO til January before we cut him, I would think if Selby shows some potential we could at least give him that, I genuinely was impressed with his size and speed, he looks like he at least has the tools to be a better player.

Agreed.

The other guys who looked okay: Snaer and Harris. I still haven't watched all the game, but Landry was our top scorer.

I'm watching the play-by-play online and I'm noticing missed layup after missed layup out there....

What's up with the team?

So without actually WATCHING the game... here's my impressions :man10:

- I'm digging the Henson/Sacre duel. Henson so far has been a rebounding monster in the summer league. So far it's:
Henson 8 pts/ 8 rbnds 2 tos and 3 fouls (3/5 FG)
Sacre 10 pts/ 5 rbnds 1 stl 1 blk 1 ast 1 to (3/7 FG)

- We're getting to the line a lot which helped us get back in the game.

- Both teams are missing a lot of layups so I'm thinking the defense must be pretty good from both teams.
