MistiLynn's Exclusive Pictures and Game Report [7-9-06]

This was comedy, there were 4 Lakers players sitting in my immediate vecinity (during the game before the Laker game), all 4 were listening to i-pods, singing along and dancing to their music. It was a Kodak moment, too bad photos don't capture dancing (Douhit had the best moves)

Image
Douhit and Farmar stretch before the game

Image
Something for the girls! All the players had to take off their jerseys and turn them inside out since they'd put on the purple side and needed to have on the gold side. I almost missed the shot because I was staring, but managed to catch it a little

Image
That was a lovely moment.

Douhit with the ball, probably getting ready to take one of the shots that they didn't credit him for

Image
Bynum goes up for the shot (I am particularly proud of this picture!)

Bynum reaches for the post entry pass

Image
Want to see what the view is like sitting on the sideline and staring up at these guys? This is pretty much it.

Image
Bynum calls for the ball

Marcus Slaughter looks to make the pass

Devin Green passing it inside to Bynum

Bynum is double-teamed

Image
Looks at Farmar's vertical!

Image
Bynum is calling for the ball but Douhit looks elsewhere

Image
All watching the ball go through the hoop

Image
Bynum is enjoying the victory

Image
Farmar and Slaughter chat on the bench

Image
Kurt Rambis is all smiles in the post-game interviews

Image
Farmar chats about how easy the game is for him

Image
Von Wafer talks about his game being better today than yesterday

Image
Devin Green keeps a straight face even though Wafer is standing behind him and poking him in the back

Grego ran over to get me at the start of the 3rd quarter, the photographer sitting next to him on the baseline is the guy who shot THE photograph of Robert Horry hitting THE shot against Sacramento in '02. I talked to the guy a bit, got his card and told him "THANK YOU!".

"Basketball reasons" is as believable coming from Mitch Kupchak as it was coming from David Stern. #IWantedPhil

I knew that would make your day. I was like, "this is awesome, you shot the Horry shot. The only one! Misti will love this." Ooh, is his name on the photo that you have? That would be cool.

Good luck with him, Misti. :jam2:

Special thanks to my friend, Nabil, none of you know who he is but he's the one that showed me how to make my camera take action shots better since it's most definitely not designed for this. I'm happy with how they came out. Thanks Nabil!

Great! Farmar wasn't getting his passes high enough when he was passing to Bynum yesterday. I've been criticizing him alot for it.

I'm glad he listening to me. :man1:

Brandon Routh shouldn't have gotten the part of Superman.

Obviously, it should have gone to Farmar.

That is insanely high. His fingers appear to be above the square on the backboard.

I would have went if I didn't live out here in Ventura County. The gas to drive there is more expensive than the ticket. I'll be out there this upcoming weekend though.

No excuse! I live in Venture County and went both yesterday and today. :)

Bynum definitely looks as if he added some mass.

Farmar does have some crazy ups.

Douthit looks different. He looks like Mr. Cooper from Hangin' with Mr. Cooper.

Good for you. I'm not rich. :mhihi:

On top of that I've got to look after my brothers since my parents are out today.

I got pretty good seats when I arrived at the beginning of the L. Smith and Associates vs Hoosier Daddy game. The crowd filled up at about the 3rd to 4th quarters.

Also make sure to order your tickets on the phone (don't trust the online store) and pick 'em up at the Will Call booth.

Opening weekend is the busiest, if you get to the game somewhere in the 3rd or 4th quarter of the game before you shouldn't have any problem finding a good seat.

You're talking about that half-spin move in the second half right?

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

I still have my copy of The Press-Enterprise from after the 3-peat, it has a full-page shot of his photo and yes, has his name on it. Incredible. I e-mailed him so we'll see!
