long time LAker fan...first time posting. looking on a local sports forum here in North Carolina I found this:

Tyler Sanborn was the DIII player of the year....6'10" center

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Recent Guilford College graduate Tyler Sanborn ‘10 (Mount
Airy, N.C./Elkin) has been invited to play on the Los Angeles Lakers’ NBA
Summer League team July 9-16 in Las Vegas.

Sanborn, a 6-10, 260-pound center, will join other free agents, draft picks
and young players on the Lakers’ entry into the 22-team league. For the
second consecutive year, a team of NBA Development League Select players
will also participate in the action taking place at the Thomas & Mack Center
and the COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Los Angeles’ team opens play July 9 against Detroit at COX Pavilion.

Sanborn, who completed pre-NBA Draft tryouts with the Lakers as well as
Memphis and Charlotte, is coming off a stellar season that concluded a
brilliant career. He captured three 2010 NCAA Division III player of the
year awards after compiling 30 double-doubles and averaging 19.8 points,
14.1 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 33 games. A two-time All-American, Sanborn
stands 16th among the Quakers’ career scoring leaders (1,398), fourth in
rebounds (1,133) and third in blocks (200). He helped Guilford to a 104-19
record, four NCAA Tournament appearances and two national semifinal berths
in his four seasons.

Sanborn looks to join former teammate Ben Strong ’08 as recent Guilford
graduates in professional basketball. Strong just wrapped up his second
season with Maccabi Haifa in the top Israeli professional league. Guilford
has produced four NBA players: M.L. Carr ’73, World B. Free ’76, Greg
Jackson ’74 and Bob Kauffman ’68.

JCritt back? Nice!
DJ Strawberry should be a nice pickup too.

Elonu is now playing overseas in Spain, still have his rights though.

Watching Ebanks' highlight videos, reminds me ALOT of Trevor Ariza. Long and lanky SF with good athleticism, plays great defense, and a decent shot. He also works well in the paint, good footwork. He even wears NUMBER 3! I think he'll make the cut, and we'll see a pseudo Ariza next season. Haha.

I'm looking at that, and it's pretty big man/swing man heavy. The front office must really have a plan in place for the PG situation.

I think Crittenton has a chance to join Derek and whomever else they bring in at PG. If they pay and bring Shannon back I could see the five guards being Derek, Shannon, Javaris, Kobe and Sasha unless they can trade Sasha for a backup big or combo guard or pure point guard. If they were able to move Sasha for a backup big, then Raja or T-Mac comes into play I assume or if Shannon walks.
