I like his game and his size. He still has to work on his outside shot, but he's a perfect PG for the Lakers to develop. Do it Mitch :jam2: :jam2:

Disagree. I like what I've seen from him so far in the SPL.

^ I'm with you. He should at least get a Hawaii invite.

At best, he's the 3rd best player on the team. If you're a Coby Karl fan, then he's the 4th best on the team.

1) Crawford
2) Dunston

PG is an area of need and size at the PG position is valuable. I also like Crawford and think he should take Karl's spot. Thing about Bozeman is that neither Crawford, Dunston, or Karl can play PG.

Yeah I agree with JSM. In fact. Ford might be the fourth best on the team. Bozeman may get invite and I am fine with it but I don't see him having any shot at making the team.

I'd say the five guys who are most interesting to me are, in no particular order:

Crawford
Karl
Bozeman
Dunston
Gray

Over the next few days, I'll cement the rankings on these guys and be a bit more detailed.

Quoted for truth.

I mean, he doesn't seem to have much way of versatility--averaging so few assists a game when his best asset is his "versatility"--that doesn't bode well for him. He's polished, but he is what he is--a poor offensive player, little in way of an NBA strength besides maybe his foul prone defensive ability. I mean, even Devin Green was able to notch 15 ppg at the SPL.

The guy is 25 years old and hasnt shown much improvement since his college days. I dont think he can "develop" any more into the tri point guard you invision.

Tex said the Lakers aren't calling in the DLeague guys b/c they know what they have to offer. I'm sure they know what Green has to offer by now. I've always liked his game as a triangle SG/SF, and he has been developing pretty well. He could get a camp invite.

Yeah, Green's a known commodity--but he's with the Spurs and Sonics right now, in their summer leagues. I don't think we're looking in his direction anymore--been there, done that.

As an aside, I'm somewhat glad we didn't draft George Hill; in 3 games, he's only shooting 8% from the field--you heard that right--8%--and he's already had games where he's shot 0-10 and 0-6 from the field, respectively. Ouch for a guy who has few PG skills to make up for his shortcomings.

Remember, Bozeman was booted for PG duties by a Freshman named Jordan Farmar at UCLA.

I like Caner medley. looks to be a great role player. a scrapper the Lakers can D League him and call him up. 22 mins. and 19pts, 6 boards. athletic. :boxing1:

Really who cares, PJ won't play any of them.

I like what I've seen from Bozeman. Being that I still consider PG an area of great need for the Lakers, I think he would fit in well. He brings the ball up well, makes good smart passes, seems to see the whole court well, can rebound well for a PG, and is not as bad at defense like I thought he would be. He is slow for his position, but he makes up for that a lot with his height. I realize he won't be able to cover the small quick PG's of the League, but not many can. His outside shooting is an area of concern and if anything keeps him out of the League it will be that. He has to make defenses play him honest and if they can play off of him then it will negate a lot of his effectiveness. With his passing, court vision, and rebounding from the PG spot alone I think he should get a camp invite. If he ever finds an outside shot he would be a nice pickup.
