The Summer Pro League?

I've been thinking about the SPL, since it begins on the 8th of July, I want to confirm that no pro teams are playing?
If we want to watch the new players we have to go to LV. Is this right? I was looking forward to the SPL in LB.
Would it be worth the trip? Who would you go and watch?

I can confirm that no NBA teams are playing.
You'll have to go to the Vegas League. Not worth the road trip IMO. The crowd will be dead i think, unlike SPL crowd's in Long Beach for the past years.

Las Vegas has some positives...you can get boxscores, live scores and they show more games...

In the last few years it sucked to always wait a day or 2 before you get anything from the game.

I like Las Vegas definitely better because there are more teams and far better competition. We don´t have to play the same team 3 times or so.

I know it sucks for the fans who could attend some games but for the world wide Laker fans its a huge improvement.

I know getting all these guys is pipe but this would be my Vegas Summer squad

Why would Mustafa Shakur play PF?

I´m pretty sure Farmar and Crittenton are going to start at both guard spots...

Can´t wait to see Crittenton take people off the dribble...

From the point though I know for a fact they want to see how much of his four years of the triangle exp in High school will translate to Tex's version.

Farmar will start Critt will back him up at first and maybe push him for the starter job by the end of training camp if we don’t add a vet, which I hope we do maybe Francis if the Jail Blazers buy him out his pocket will be stuffed with cash so maybe a vets min might not be out of the question for a chance to redeem himself on one of the biggest stages in the Nba

I'll be there working as an intern for the SPL from the 5th-17th. I'm pretty excited, should be a fun experience albeit I'll be in the scorching heat for 13 days.

Bynum better be in the summer league again. So he can get a taste of what Odens got, maybe finally show off that skyhook.

Myself and 3 buddies will be there all day Sunday. We'll be the 4 guys in the Laker Sunday white uni's. Come and support us as we ask for Mitch's resignation!
