Crawford looks to attack the defense and break it down, but he won't if it's not there. So he's showing the ability to read a D. It's not great at this point, but it's a good sign.

Love just scored on 4 Lakers. Grab a rebound.

He could have 30 tonight and I'd still think he is the worst player I've seen this summer. He's scoring against Pops.

my sister was on UCLA sports med and worked with all the UCLA players all she could say about Mata was that he tries hard...that tells you something.

Mitchell looks like the best athlete on the Lakers' team here and he obviously has the best physique. Tons of scoring pop...should forget about handling the ball as the PG and work on attacking solely from the SG spot. He has a lot of Josh Smith in his game.

Vegas is about as pro Lakers as you can get outside of California.

Problem is they are playing in the Thomas and Mack Center, which isn't even 1/16th of the way full. So the crowd is spread out. It does sound like Minny has a couple cheering sections spread out.

Crawford does need to be either a bit craftier at the rim or he should just try to dunk more regularly. He gets there and can finish, but he goes up for the lay in too frequently.

Would it too much for them to put the game clock underneath that scoreboard?

Wow. Caner-Medley is 10-12 from the line. Can someone tell me how he got there?

And btw, Pops-Mensah Bonsu sucks. 7 fouls and 8 turnovers.
