Kobe just went nuts in the 2nd half after a terrible first.

Kobe needs to be shooting in rhythm. Iso Kobe is a disaster waiting to happen, I hope he gets that now. I think he's so used to iso ball that he's actually having trouble playing in a system where he doesn't need to do that. Those threes he nailed at the end all came in a catch and shoot situation.

problem is he doesn't do that very often ... even this season he had few decent looks from to catch and shoot but he stopped took a little jab and started dribbling and going for contested fadeaway shot. Hopefully he will cofus on that in the offseason since we have Nash ... anyway I wasn't watching the game (was at the gym) but I heard that it was pretty close after 3Q what happened?

I don't get it.

During the all-star game Kobe clearly shows everyone who the boss on the court is. With Team USA he is usually completely laid back, barely ever taking control.

Games like this or the 4th against Spain the Finals last time around are a rarity. Nontheless very good to see Kobe come through, he has looked pretty old in this tournament so far. He might not be the juggernaut he used to be but he is still a pretty amazing player and you can NEVER EVER underestimate his will to win. He might get older but dude is a winner by any definiton. He wants it more than you, thats for sure.

well he doesn't get that many touches on this team ... which is fine but I still have problem with him taking forced shots when they aren't clearly going in ... sure he had great second half this game but it is rare occasion these days and not only on team USA ... there is a reason he is shooting the worst percentange on team USA if i am not mistaken and had terrible % in NBA (he is taking bad shots, well same shots as he used to but he is just not making them anymore)
