In retrospect, and in the present, US team has got away with things any other team has been allowed to do.
Remember, This is not NBA rules. This is FIBA rules. FIBA rules. All the claims you've made in this thread are based on NBA rules.
FIBA rules, you may not like it... but they are what they are. When you call travelling to Lithuania, and not a fu**ing single one to USA, then you know the referees, wich might not be good enough by your standars, are, added to that, favouring the american team. It may not be a travel by your rules, but it is travel by FIBA rules. Point. It's been scandalous.
Other differences, though minor compared to the shame of the travelling affair.
Dwight howard, to name one, living, eating, sleeping, inside the zone. 3 seconds called to any other team, but not to USA.
Playing hard vs floppers. OK, your are stronger and real man versus little girly players. Did you wanted to hear that ? OK. But one thing is playing hard, and a different thing is that you call a foul against a team, but the same foul is not called against USA. A different thing is howard pushing three players in the same play, pushing with one hand, two hands, and no foul called. Playing hard and playing dirty is two different things.
See, the team is too good for that. USA don't need that help. You're gonna beat us anyway, why this stupid favoritism of the refferees is beyond my understanding. And you, amongst all inhabitants on earth, claiming against the referees... it's hilarious.
