Good solid half. Nerves played a big part but the defense improved along with the running game as the half went along.

Wade and Lebron playing the best so far.

I like the way Sun Yue is contesting at the rim. Note, that he's going up against all- stars and superstars of the NBA. I imagine him being better than Luke at least. So to those who say he isn't NBA material... watch him play a little more.

Redd needs more playing time. We could use a shooter out there. China has been draining their 3's. They'll continue to wear down and the shots will come up short.

How many times has Sun been dunked on? :man10:

he did force a couple of drives and threw up something with at least 3 guys on him..

otherwise, Kobe needs to stick to taking the three only when he is absolutely wide open.. couple of them, it was contested pretty well.. he is not a three point shooter to take that kind of shot..

he isn't ball hogging.. but he isn't playing smartly either.

Only 2 forced drives.

One he got blocked by Yao..no shame in that.
The 2nd, he threw up a shot that wasnt advised.

Other than that, he has played good defense and taken shots within the rhythm of the game.
He should have a couple more assist but D-Will missed 2 wide open 3's on the left corner.

you don't know what you are talking about.. without Kobe, Redd, as perimeter threats, Wade doesn't get to the paint as easily.. it's not even whether they're making shots.. it's just about their presence.. this was clear in exhibition when Wade did his patented go inside and throw himself into people and expecting foul calls..

and they definitely need Kobe on defense.. Wade and LeBron have been awful.. except for LeBron's help with blocking..
