I'm confused, is the "NBC Olympic Basketball channel" just streaming online or are we actually able to watch it on TV?

If it's on TV, can someone tell me what channel it will be on Time Warner Cable?

I want to watch the whole game uninterrupted, even if it's not in HD.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

anything below 30 point would be a disappointment and I'm really serious.

Just pressure their guards and it should be easy because they can't get it into Yao.

Don't know. Team USA has traditionally been, let's put it this way... "gentle" with the hosts at major events like the Olympics.

Well if the 10AM PT as posted above is the listed start time for the game's airing on NBC then no. Because the game is LIVE at 7:15 AM PT.

So it looks like the game will be shown LIVE on the East Coast and in Central Time Zones, but tape-delayed for the rest of the US.

Here's NBC's listing:

The U.S. men's basketball team missed out on an Olympic gold medal in 2004. Now the newest "Dream Team" tries to become the "Redeem Team," and its journey begins with a preliminary-round contest against host nation China - and its oversized national hero Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets (LIVE ET/CT).

Correct, us Pacific time zoners will be getting the delay. You can watch it live online on their website at 7:15 A.M.

^ That makes sense. I was a bit confused too because ECT is 12 hours behind China's 10pm start time, which would put it at 10am ECT (7PCT). I checked my local listings and it said 10am PCT, I guess its a delay.

Yes. It will be a three-hour delayed taping shown on NBC at 10AM on the west coast. But as Vincey said, you can watch it on NBC's Olympic site live at 7AM PST.

I've been waiting a long time for this.

Stickied.

Oh, and USA for the win. Blowout style. I'd be unimpressed if we don't spank China by at least 25-30 points.
