Game 1: USA-France

So... is anyone watching this?

It's a relatively close game in the 1st.

I'm watching it, nice to see its a double digit lead in the second. But France can definitely come back.

I'm watching it, very sloppy, a lot of fouls, James Harden acting like it's the NBA Finals, but the US is still up double digits.

Not a great game so far ... Kobe not playing much ... pretty boring so far. Chandler is playing solid.

US' offense is pretty sloppy ... I mean there is no movement in half court game

I like this USA offense: dribble the ball. See if you can chuck it; if not, turn around like a madman and pass it to another random guy camping at the 3-pt line who will dribble and shoot if possible, in a strictly 1-on-1 fashion. Repeat.

Yes, it's still enough for a 20+ point lead, but man... it's kinda boring.

I just got up and rewound the game to the beginning so I am behind the live broadcast. Came in here to see if the entire game was going to be a Lebron Blowjobfest all game. After looking through the thread I see it is going to continue

Strong opener. They're not likely to look all that cohesive on offense but defensively they will hum at certain points and pull away from everyone.


Lebron, compared to 2008, is just so much better. Its amazing how much he has improved even though he was still a top 2-3 player in the world back then.

To be fair , Lebron was the only unselfish player in this game , moving the ball well and finding open players ... KD scored well as usual , all the others were non efficient ball stoppers ... Deron and Westbrook were truly pathetic , especially in the 1st half ... and both Deron and Love are laughable on D

LMAO.... US gets a steal and Harden dumps it to Lebron who pushes it, jumps in the air and throws it directly to the French player. Big Deal? No. However, Dougie-Lebron-ballwasher says, "oh "french dude" jumps right in the way there, Lebron is always thinking pass first but sometimes he needs to shoot". Then it was, "now look on defense Lebron is the voice of this team he is talking to his teammates, now he is going to control the game in so many ways".

OMFG, STFU! UGH... this may be my least favorite Olympic event to watch right now.

that's why I'm watching games without any commentaries on a internet stream ... and you can hear the players on the court

^ i wish... They almost don't say anything positive about anyone else without a negative attached except with Lebron of course. LBJ to Chandler Alley: "How many players can put the ball right there besides Lebron?" It was a basic Lob that every player on the team could do. Any time a US player takes a shot its a contested shot, bad choice or too much one on one unless its the King.
