Is Kobe Playing for Team USA This Summer?

I haven't heard much about it yet. I think the Americans need to play in this Summer's tournament in order to qualify for the 08 Olympics.

Hopefully can show everyone that he is the missing piece on Team USA.

Ouch, summer play + near 40 MPG with little help. I feel for Kobe. he's asking for a nagging injury throughout the season.

If he's not playing then he's up at 4 running for several hours then do lifting. It doesn't matter what happens that day, Kobe is still working hard.

huge difference between lifting and running than playing international games.

Both Manu and Duncan suffered injuries from their summer play, not to mention all the team usa guys from years past like Brand, Allen, Kidd, VC(although he's already fragile as it is).

Then you multiply 40mpg. Those minutes do add up as you get older.

Nope, he played for USA, and he is done now. As a fan, I'm glad because summer play is just too much especially if you play in the post season.
