If you have been watching the exhibition games of the World Championships you can see that they are running the court, pushing the ball almost every posession. Last time Lamar played in this style of play was in miami where he arguably had his best year of his career.
Lamar Would be able to get the rebound and just push from there where the other center could do absolutely nothing to stop. As opposed to starting Dwight Howard where he has to kick out out as soon as he gets the board slowing them down some what and taking them a lil out of their game as opposed to Lamar who is also a great rebounder just being able to push or distribute as soon as he gets the board.
Not to mention He is as big as some of the other centers.. I think if he had to post up he could do that as well. much better than having brad miller post up. if you watch brad miller he has no post up game at all. he can shoot the J and pass from the inside but no post game whatsoever as opposed to Lamar who can also pass from the post. has a decent shot and a better post game than Miller.
So overall i believe with the style of play that Team USA is playing Lamar would be they're best bet at the Center position over Brad Miller and Dwight Howard. What do you guys think
