Especially Yi....how did this guy get into the NBA? I can somewhat understand Yao struggling, having not yet recovered fully from injury and nowhere near prime conditioning. But Yi seemed almost uninterested in this whole thing.
). Yao is giving all that he has even if it can't possibly his 100%. I hope that China at least makes it to the elimination rounds. Yao is such a great dude, I can't help but root for the guy.

I have a feeling that that Spain photo shoot DID reach the Chinese media. The Chinese crowd was heavily booing Spain while they had possession at certain points. And that is uncharacteristic of the Chinese crowd as far as I've seen.

They weren't booing Spain. Craig sager asked the manager of the building what they were saying and he told them that they were chanting the Chinese equivalent of "nooo" to distract the players. And as its been said, point differential matters in the prelims.
