Good game going on. Very physical though, the refs aren't calling anything.

Holy crap! Kleiza hits the go ahead 3 to win the game.

Valiant effort by Argentina though. They were horrible for the first 35mins, came on strong in the last 5 but too little too late.

Horrible officiating. Absolutely horrible.

I do not surprise the loss of Argentine, is not playing nothing well in preparation and today they have demonstrated it.

- SPAIN / USA

- GREECE

- ARGENTINA AND LITHUANIA

REST OF TEAMS

Croatia beat Australia by 15, 97:82.
Croatia lead by 28 at one point in 4q, easy victory.

So far, Lithuania, Spain and Croatia look really good. Germany had a weak opponent and they are second tier anyway.

Great point. even though hes not the vocal point hes still almost close to a double double.

Spain's offense is spread, nobody is the focal point. They try to go to the best option the defense gives them by ball movement.

Today, Lithuania took care of business against Iran, winning 99-67.

Russia-Croatia is now live. It's going to be a great game! Russians are favorites, but Croatia (probably the best defensive Euro team) has the lead early: 14-12

Watch here: nbcolympics.com, you won't be sorry.

Wow, this is a great game.

Croatia 42
Euro champs, Russia, 36

End of first half. If Croatians win this, they might be even good enough for a medal, who knows.

Croat here. It's too soon to talk about medal, but we are looking very good. Team play, discipline, agressive defense and creating open shot in offense is key to win teams with better individual players.

This is where - at least to me - Croatia stands out. They have no stars, but they do play as a team, and their team D is very good.

And having no stars might be a good thing, who knows? If you have one Dirk Nowitzki, and he simply has an off-night (happens to the best of them), Germany is screwed. Croatia is different, because if Planinic is not on, Ukic might be... or Prkacin, or someone else. In any case, I like the defense.

Russians can shoot though. It seems that everyone on their team can chuck a 3-pter.

Well, Croatians schooled them. Team defense wins.

Germany-Greece should be interesting too.
