Does anyone have a schedule of when the games will be played or what tv channel they will be on?

Speaking of Canada, Dalembert was kicked off the team.

Philadelphia 76ers center Samuel Dalembert was released from the team after Tuesday’s defeat to Slovenia.

“Without going into too much detail, it’s a situation that we decided to move forward with the players who have the passion and desire to play for Canada,” Rautins said.

“It’s disappointing for sure, but I think you have to have players who are a 100% committed to it.

“If not, it’s not going to happen for us.”

If Canada qualify for the Beijing Games, they will be able to add another player to replace Dalembert.

This game should be over by the first quarter. :mhihi:

Shocker considering he's their only player recognizable by name.I guess they got a point about dedication though.

So Dalembert doesn't have any pride it seems?

Yo I went to buy one just because of that comment. I never even think of DVR because I only use tv for sports. Now I can watch any game I want whenever I want which is perfect :man9:

Keep in mind that all times listed there are in Chinese timezone. China Standard Time is 12 hours ahead of Eastern Daylight Time and 15 hours ahead of Pacific Daylight Time.

All of the USA preliminary round games are being played at either 22:15 China time or 20:00 China time. For us, these games will happen on the same dates at 7:15am or 5:00am Pacific time. Can anyone say DVR, baby?

There is no schedule listed for the quarterfinals or semifinals, but it does say that the championship game is scheduled for 8/24 at 14:30. Which means that we will see the game at 11:30pm Pacific time on 8/23. Hope you're game for staying up late.

Anyway, if you're interested in catching the other games, here's a quick reference to China time vs Pacific time:

16:45 = 1:45am PDT
14:30 = 11:30pm PDT the day before
11:15 = 8:15pm PDT the day before
9:00 = 6:00pm PDT the day before

I think the most interesting matchup we can watch during evening hours would have to be Spain vs. Greece on 8/9, 11:30pm PDT.

Team USA's toughest games will be against Greece on 8/14 and Spain on 8/16. Argentina and Russia are in the other bracket so Team USA won't see them until the later rounds.
