And no Lamar is not a better fit than Melo on that team

nameant wrote:Melo is one of our best international players. Do I think we need him to win the Gold? No. But I don't think we should kick him off b/c he's sucked in the playoffs. Look at the guys he is playing with. There's a reason we call them the Thuggets. Under better leaders and classy, hard-working players is where he'll be with team USA.
Speaking of team USA though...we DON'T need Wade. I just hope they don't ruin the chemistry these guys had. Wade can't play international ball to save his life.

JSM wrote:^ I'm not saying he should be dropped but it will be interesting to see what roster decisions they make because all the guys that were hurt and couldn't compete last year are now healthy.
I don't think Wade should be added because his game does not fit international play in any way, shape, or form.
CP3 HAS to be added.
Brand, LO, Boozer, Bosh, Jamison, Joe Johnson, Marion, and Pierce are on the outside looking in and I think you could make a strong case for at least 5 of those guys.
You also have Oden. I'm not sure whether the Blazers would give him their blessing or not.
