you would need to rebound to do that.. Argentina was very good on offensive rebounding.

Than you can just press the "power" on you're TV control very simple isn't it? Kobe played a great game. LeBron just about played the same way Kobe did yesterday when he went for 11-11.

Retarded.

USA was pretty sloppy on the offense during the fourth quarter though.

I do not like Melo as our PF, we need to get bigger.. What does Melo do besides score? might as well get a true PF to control the boards and intimidate.

I hope Boozer replaces Melo in Beijing.

Bill Walton had nothing but praise for Kobe tonight, it was a little strange to hear him give him that much love actualy. I wonder if Kobe sent him an angry text message or something. :mhihi:

i'm a kobe fan.. love his game.. except when he holds the ball for too long and goes 4 on 1 and turns the ball over.. it's my fault though.. i'm paying too much attention to kobe when he's on the floor.. expecting lockdown D or a spectacular play on every possesion :mhihi:

Yeah Boozer will help on offense he is pretty good fundamental with variety of post moves and 15 foot jumper ... and he is strong ... and Bosh will be there too ... just i don't know where to put Wade ... i don't really miss him on team USA :D

Yeah, I was thinking about that the other day. When wade comes back, would he start? I don't think so. Because Kidd, Kobe, Bron, and maybe melo are virtual locks to start. There's no room for him.

and his game doesn'T fit with international rule ... he is not Kobe, he just dribble and makes some impossible play ... and he is not Bron either when he just put on speed and dunk on everybody ... and he is not Carmelo because he can't nail the jumper ... really ... Wade is made for NBA where there is defensive 3 seconds so the basket is open ... but here in europe sry international rule it's different ... he struggles with this ... and kidd is way better faciliator than him

Kobe ownage!

Some USA weaknesses: offense against zone, rebounding.

We need to go big heading to Beijing.

Kobe just has a way of winning people over. Bill definitely came into this thing with a chip on his shoulder and an agenda. But night after night of watching Kobe, even he had to cry 'uncle' after awhile. Kobe is just that brilliant, you can only deny it or slight it for so long when it's in your face. .

melo is a good rebounder. dwight and amare control the boards anyways and everyone is solid when it comes to boxing out.

melo isn't an issue at all. he's one of the best players on the squad.

It's pretty sad that the U.S. only won by 15 points against the B team of Argentina.

point differential isn't an accurate indicator of control/flow of the game.

I agree, I'm not that concerned. I still feel this team usa will be ready for anyone they come against. While games will probably be closer in the Olympics I still expect the USA to bring home the GOLD.
