Kobe held Barbosa, the tournament's leading scorer, to four points. Can't wait to see more of that.

Bill Walton was more annoying than ever.
“If somebody had their life on the line, and they’ve got their options on who they want to save their life – tell me who you’re going to pick?” Bryant asked. “You’re going to look at the stats first?”

Yahoo says Kobe harrassed Barbosa all over the floor and locked him down....

I wonder why we couldn´t do it in the playoffs :bang:

Barbosa came in averaging 27 points per game in the tournament, Kobe held him to 4 points on 1 of 7 shooting from the field.

Usually, when announcers are subpar, I turn a deaf ear.

When I saw/heard Bill Walton sleeply drone on about Brazils economics like he and the announcer were having an oblivious discussion right in the middle of a great [USA] dunk and LeBron steal and score- all in less then 10 seconds- I never pushed the mute button faster. :man3:

It was almost shocking. For me to want to drive all the way to Vegas and slap those talking heads with a dead trout, they seriously have problems and should be excused for poor professionalism and attrocious performance.

Please, Bill, if your going to goof off atleast do me the service of watching the freaking game!

Big "Booyaa" to Mr. Bryant, Anthony, James, and Team USA- another stellar performance. :patriot:

"I knew that he was going to come up and defense me and guard me like he did and all I was trying to do was get the ball, but I didn't have many balls in my hand," Barbosa said. "But that's OK. It's about tomorrow now, let's forget about this."

nah.. his performance.. he has been playing so well.. don't want there to be any blemishes now.

I can see you have high expectation of Kobe, unlike Bill Walton who has a bias against Kobe.

How? It's a distraction. If it's not about the game it's fodder.
