8/26 Team USA vs. Brazil - Predictions and Comments

I wonder why we couldn´t do it in the playoffs :bang:

Not hard to answer really. You aren't allowed to touch guys on the perimiter in the NBA, so a human blur like Barbosa can just blow by guys. When you can put a hand on a guy it's a whole different story. Plus Phoenix sets tons of moving/illegal screens and that doesn't help things.

Isn't it funny when b-scott disappears when kobe does something good? He can't even downplay this, that's why he is missing.

LOL, "he don't guard like that in the NBA", Barbosa. :mhihi: :mhihi:

"He understands he doesn't need to score 60 points to help us win, so he can use a little more energy on the defensive end than he's done in the past," Jason Kidd said. :man9: :man9:

I gotta admit, Brazil at least made it interesting for the 1st quarter. 2nd quarter and on was another boring match.

Uruguay (suprisingly) and Argentina are better teams than Brazil IMO. I'd like to see what we do against them.

And it isn't like he is concidently away, he is always there when kobe does something bad. I think we've exposed him.

I think his username is dalakeshow on cl. He is b-scott who was a member of lg. He kept on getting owned for his ridiculous posts then eventually got banned. He again kept on getting owned by laker fans on real gm's laker boards. He then said "i'm done with this place"(sounds like another user on this board) only to return a few couple of days.

He doesn't understand why he gets bashed so much. He has invented his own rhetoric and has convinced himself of things that don't exist. Couple with the fact that he might the most bias laker fan ever and you have b-scott.

Some of the great things he has said

Mike james is the next billups
Harrison of the pacers has more potential than bynum
I'd trade bynum for artest (just recently)
Steve nash is better than kobe

AKA DALakeshow. He was trashing Kobe a little bit early in the thread. Implying that he'll only be impressed if Kobe could actually guard Barbosa.

Of course. Heaven forbid Kobe has a bad game this tournament or anything of the sort...he'll return!

Oh, I know DaLakShow and his ridiculous threads and posts, mostly Kobe hate. Isn't he the one that just made that thread, "why can't Kobe play this kinda D for the Lakers"? I've seen b-scott on Real GM, but I thought he was a moderator, guess I was wrong. I've seen him arguing a lot on there and thought his posts were pretty ridiculous, didn't know it was the same guy. Makes me wonder who else is posting on Real GM and LG under different usernames from CL.

Here's another classic moment from our own dalakeshow

I quoted only the neccasary part

Miles and his fake Lamar compliments. You bust out 1 little compliment and everything else is negative. So predictable

:man10:

Hypocrisy if i ever saw it

Anyways, enough of b-scott and his nonsense. Back to team usa

Anyone think michelle miller is absolutely useless? Guy is supposed to be a shooter and is bricking waaaaaay too many shots.

And at least 2 of those points were FTs that came when Kobe was on the bench. :man1:

And the funny thing is, you know he's read this thead. It's not like he's been MIA, he's been posting in Lakers Discussion.
