with someone like Kidd who can take care of organizing the offense, Kobe will be able to concentrate more on defense.. nevermind that Kidd himself is a great defensive player.

Huh? Kobe is shooting like 55-60% out there today. A very good percentage.

He struggled at the beginning.. took some tough shots that is simply not neccessary on Team USA.

I saw him miss his first few shots of the game, one was an easy layup he usually makes. He only shot two fadeaways that he missed. One from the corner and another from the top of the key. Kobe played great today. No need to overanalyze his every move like that.

Sounds like overanalyzing to me. Kobe shot two fadeaways, his money shot as we all know. Guys were jacking up threes all over the court, I don't see anything wrong with Kobe's shots out there.

I'm not criticizing his overall game..

It isn't about %.. Kobe can hit tough shots.. but are they neccessary? With his talent, he shouldn't be at all settling for fadeaways here.

He's just being overly critical. Its all good. These are shots kobe normally makes. He ended up shooting 5-8, so no biggie.

Not a big deal. I'm just saying it's unneccessary. I don't see anyone else taking their normal "tough" shots that they take for their NBA team.. because they know they can keep their game simple in tihs setting with so much talent out there.

Thing is those aren't tough shots for Kobe, those are his normal shots. He probably likes and has more success taking those shots than set shots, he has even said that. Just recently he said he's not used to being a spot up shooter. I know how he feels, I shoot better with a hand in my face for some reason, go figure, maybe you focus more.

Eh, why? It's not like the team is hurting for offense. And that's one of his best shots. Kobe and the coaches know what is best for the team, not you.

You are overanalysing and being a nitpicking little wanker. The team won and he still shot a high percentage. Like I said, Kobe has a better idea than you over what is necessary for the game.
