I just wish they'd change the announcers, but no such luck. Whoever this Mark Jones guy is he either doesn't own a tv or doesn't do anything other than his job, he sounds like a nerd. Walton made a hilarious (I thought anyway) Three Stooges Defense joke about Melo getting poked in the eye and he goes 'what's that some 2-3 zone' and Walton's like 'uh.. no it's getting poked in the eye... like the 3 stooges', and he's like 'oh, yeah, ha ha'. :thezen:

The Canucks are going down. The only thing to find out is how horribly they will be mangled.

We better win by at least 50 points.

Kobe goes off for 50 points, team USA still loses, and then after the game, demands a trade to Italy........

that would be interesting :man10:

but seriously, USA wins big tonight, by 40+ points

USA will not lose a single game in this tournament. It's absolutely impossible.

If Bill Walton is caling the game - I'm setting my volume to mute. I had enough last night, and I honestly loved the guy before he started making ridiculous comments.

USA by 50 plus.

I hear you. I never thought he was THAT bad until the last 2 games. Speaking of announcers, I wonder why Kevin Harlem doesn't get more national stuff. He's the consensus "best" announcer.

Normally, I can tolerate Bill. But he's just been really grating my nerves the last 2 nights.

Maybe it's the lack of options. Usually, I can turn on the radio or turn it on to KCAL or FSN.

Dalembert is going to single-handedly win the game for the Pucks.

Bill Walton tends to talk alot when the games are boring. After the USA pretty much smacked the Virgin Islands in the 1st Quarter, Bill pretty much was bored the rest of the way and talked waaay too much. Not good at all.

He tends to be okay when the games are actually interesting, unfortunately it hasn't been the case for the last 2 games.
