LOL, they were surprisingly 3-0 at one point though. Of course wins against teams in the 1st round that have been eliminated don't carry over, so they stand at 2-3 now.

It is... but it gets boring as heck... our only hope for a competitive game is against Argentina but i don't think that game will make much of a difference.

Yeah, it gets boring if you don't like blowouts. I love em', I think they're extremely entertaining when your team is the one doing the killing. But remember, this is just to get to the olympics, the real fun begins then.

What can I say about Uruguay? Well... they were good at soccer.

Basketball is not their forte, so it's a blowout again.

Argentina is playing without their stars, so that should be a win too. However, it going to be different next year when they, Lithuania, Spain and others send their best teams. That's going to be the real challenge. USA team is just warming up right now.

If it's another blowout though, we'll always have Bill Walton to come up with something entertaining. Hitting the bars with Santana "having a real good time", commenting on the guns per citizen issue in the US, people shooting refs at basketball games in Puerto Rico.... what's next??? You gotta love it. A roadtrip in South America with Bill Walton? Who wouldn't want to be a part of that spectacle. :man10:

Another thing, I seriously hope Kobe moves the ball better to start out the game this time. He's been hugging the ball way to much the past two games.

There will always be 1-on-1 in team USA basketball. You don't relegate the best talent to jumpshooting only. The rest of the team has isos as well, so why single out Kobe for that? Have we been short on scoring? No? Then calm the hell down.

Besides, I'm sure the coach would be in a better position than you in judging the correct distribution of points. I'm certain that if Coach K or the assistants think he's taking too many shots or "holding" onto the ball too much, they'll tell him and he'll comply.

In other words, relax and enjoy the damn games. Quit nitpicking, ffs.
