Vet leadership. Kidd, Billups. Two steady pgs who can organise the team. Then you add kobe who brings something this team lacks at the 2, defense.

Keep in mind the team last year was blowing out these garbage teams also. Venezuela and Virgin Islands are 2 of the worse teams in international play. There on the level of China who was horrible in the Summer Pro League in Las Vegas.


My 16 year old nephew could start at the point for Venezuela and Virgin Islands

and i have a question for you all. With all this hype around oden, who would you take in 3-5 years, oden or dwight howard. everyone says oden is a once in a decade type big man, but i honestly think dwight will be/ is better than oden ever will be.

I know Las Vegas is kind of the Laker home court. But to hear fans singing happy birthday song for Kobe is still amazing.

Regarding the happy b-day Kobe sing-a-long, you could barely hear it over the air but the commentators mentioned it. It was when Kobe was shooting his freethrows, he responded with a shy smile.

Don't take this the wrong way, but why are you so serious all the time? You know what he meant by his statement. Anyways, Duncan already played for us, making him ineligible to play for VI. Raja wouldn't have made a difference, other than annoying Kobe.

I can't believe the Mark Jones guy actualy took the time to talk about Wade again tonight. He said the exact same thing as yesterday, that his man lover Wade was recovering nicely in south Florida and expects to be back blah blah blah. He would have went on except they had to go to commercial. I also can't believe that Walton yet again went on about how Kobe is a ballhog and will he be changed by playing with these guys.

Lets see. Through 2 games, Kobe has taken 12 shots and has 9 assists. Yep, ball hog.
