I think I am seeing a trend by the USA team, 1st quarter is always tough for them to get going defensively, but after that their quickness and speed take their toll on the other team.

Halfcourt offense is pretty ugly right now, against Spain's stifling zone it might just be worse. I've got confidence in Coach K and the team to get past it though.

thats why I usually do it on free throw attempts, stopage of play, timeouts, etc.

Or if you're really skilled you can squeeze one in during an out of bounds play before the time they reach halfcourt.
