The media taking any tiny/remote/non-existent chance to jab at Kobe just to keep this image they've biult of him alive is nothing short of pitiful.

With every passing article, commentary or diatribe I get sickened further and further.

It's like a bunch of ex-girlfriends/boyfriends that just can't let the past go.

Childish, immature, stupid, unfounded and strictly amateur "journalism" at best (or worst as the case(s) may be).

Kobe should be getting a portion of every sports writer's salary since he's their fall back material when they have nothing of substance to write about.

Just finished watching the US and Greece game and man the announcer mentioned if Kobe was around we could have won it. Let the game speak for itself. Beijing 08 Kobe and LO will surely win the gold.

LeBron + Wade = maybe bronze
Ah, women. They make the highs higher and the lows more frequent.

I did e-mail him. I told him Team USA needed Kobe for both scoring and defense. This was his reply:

"You are entitled to your opinion, but I question
whether you actually watched the game. It was team
defense on the high pick-and-roll that beat them.

It doesn't matter about Kobe, that was a free opinion.
Three times he's gotten off playing for Team USA, I
highly douby he'll play in 2008.

Brian"

Sounds like a sour-graper to me.

Sure everyone is unselfish in this team, which also means this team has no leader. No one will step up and take over the game when you need it the most.

King James :disagree:
Final MVP Wade :disagree:
Anthony who failed again? :disagree:

Kobe

That was funny and clever.

Like the underrated prophet Mike Tyson once said, "Everyone has a gameplan until they get punched in the mouth"

The USA again dissapoints. Its another low day for US basketball. Not only for the players involved, but for those not involved. Hopefully '08 will truly light the fire.
