Yes, it's like a long 2 for the NBA guys. Basically automatic for them.
I disagree about the automatic part ... a lot of NBA players have been bothered by the shorter line in FIBA competitions and don't shoot the three at a better % than they do in the NBA ... most of NBA players nowadays don't or can't shoot the long 2 on a consistent basis ...
It just appeared KD and especially Melo for some time now ( as he is very comfortable shooting long 2 in the NBA from the same distance , one of his sweet spots ) make it look easy
