Why are U.S. gymnasts getting jobbed?

Everytime I watch a gmnastics event, it ends with a U.S. gymnast getting robbed by the judges.

It doesn't help that the judging errors are usually in favor of the under age Chinese team.

I really feel for Sacramone and Liukin.

How about the IOC reforming their judging policies?

There's no uproar because the rest of the world doesn't care when the US gets ripped off.

The Chinese team might not be underage. Before the Olympics, the government scouted for kids with talents in gymnastics and have over thousands gymnasts. They choose the ones that havent gone through puberty and the ones small in figure, since they tend to do better in gymnastics. I see asian girls 15-16 in high school that look about the size.

Gymnastics is a sport that I do not understand, because athletes are being JUDGED. I remember during previous Olympics, Russians were really upset because their gymnasts didn't get the mark that they thought they deserved. Now there is a different turn in this - everyone is in favor of China.

You are insane if you think that one Chinese gymnast is 16.

It's ridiculous. Criminal I say. First Sacramone got beat by a Chinese girl who didn't even land her vault and now Natsia gets robbed by some convoluted tie breaker.

The bad landing on the vault is what peeved methe most. I don't know how she could have won a gold medal after that effort.
