He returned to LA since that's where his agent is. He'll sign the contract here. If he chooses a team other than the Lakers, don't let him out alive :man10: :man10:

Yeah, but if he got THIS coach fired LA fans would love him again instantly. :man10:

If Dwight could pull off the two for one special and somehow manage to send Jim Buss packing as well, then fans would be calling for a D12 statue in front of Staples.

I know I would be. :man10:

I'd love to be a fly on the wall with that meeting with Mitch.

Why is everyone so crazy about a guy who can't shoot free throws? The Lakers will NOT win a championship with Howard. Howard needs to be dominating both offensively and defensively like Shaq in order to make up for his ineptness at the free throw line. Howard doesn't have the power that Shaq has to dominate on the offensive end.

Seriously. My opinion of this mental midget could not be lower, but if he gets Pringles fired, all sins are forgiven. (Still a d-bag though).

The thing is, it's July 5th, even if he came back and verbally committed to the Lakers tonight, he's still got 5 days to flip flop and change his mind again. I would never feel safe it was a done deal. :man10:

Ramona Shelburne, Broussard, and Adande just all said they still see him going to Houston, no reasons he didn't want LA have changed, only considering the money he was leaving has caused him to 'waffle'. I still think it's Houston as well, the pitches have been made. we're still old and injured, we still have 'Antoni, Houston still seems to be 'where his heart is'.

i don't know why we even ask these people anything. just wait for dwight to tweet/address the media. what a colossal waste of time this has been.

I guess if it's 50/50 and he's meeting with Mitch and Co. and not Rockets people that's a good thing?

Bad reporting, Dwight-Syndrome, or a toxic mixture of both?

Just do us a solid and get Pringles fired Dwight, whether you plan on staying or not. Im getting a strange feeling that he's staying and Pringles is toast in LA. I think I want to see Pringles fired more than I want Dwight to stay tho. :man10:

Dwight Howard has not set up a meeting yet with Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak, nor anyone else with LAL according to a team source

It's too bad Brian Shaw already got hired... I could see Phil coming back for one last season and then have an agreement in place with the front office to hand pick his successor.
In the real world, the day Steph awoke at 9 a.m. to begin his Ustream show, Kobe Bryant probably awoke at the same time, even if it was 6 a.m. in California, and lifted weights.

^this is my feeling. I just think it wasnt meant to leak that he was going to the rockets and to save face his camp is saying his mind is not made up and visited the lakers one more time but at the rockets were his best fit.

I feel the worst part of the media jumping the gun on this is Woj was so sure of it. He's one of the better sports journalists out there to with solid sources. Now I really dont know what to think anymore. It's not hard to pay attention to every litle detail out there when you love this team so much.

I don't want a poor decision maker on my team. Please choose team Rockets and get out of our lives. :bang:

I dont see why he would want to go to Houston in hopes of "winning a championship". I mean seriously, who are they fooling? When was the last time they won something? They wasted the best years of Tmac, Yao, and Stevie Franchise and won.... NOTHING!!! Lakers have won a title in 2000-2001-2002-2009-2010 and Houston last championship stand... 1995... And Dwight is supposed to believe the Rockets that all of a sudden their going to win a championship?? Really??

There was no way we were getting Calderon. I think he signed for $29MM ... at this point, even without D12, the Lakers couldn't afford a .99 hotdog at AM/PM.

Oh for the love of... you've got to be kidding me. I would say I'm not going to believe a single thing I read on twitter, but then that would be due to me believing this report on twitter and it's a crazy vicious cycle.
