ESPN 710 Rumor: Amare to L.A.?

As first reported by Hoopshype & Shengahainews the Lakers are discussing a blockbuster with NY that would send Amare to L.A. + (a possible filler) and Pau to NY.

It was reported during the commercial break.

Is it really a blockbuster if it contains 2 kinda washed up, former all-stars with bloated, ridiculous contracts?

It is really going to be broken on this site by a first post member?.....

Only reason I didn't lock this is because yes, there is smoke there. They ARE discussing Pau being possibly traded on ESPN 710 right now, Max and Marcellus talking about Pau now. They also played an 'Antoni interview clip of him saying that Pau is not very quick on the run, but he's a smart player, then something like in the end if players don't work in the system the last resort if personnel changes. So, considering this rumor is going to keep coming up I figured I'd leave this thread alone for now so we don't keep getting the same thread being made for any time someone hears this rumor.

Then they went to commercial and broke this huge front page story right between the Living Spaces & Best Buy commercials!!!

When the show came back, they went back to talking about Mike D. Makes perfect sense.

After looking around, I can't find anything about this being reported after all. The latest reports I see are from the LA Times saying Pau is staying. Doubt we can trust either report, but I'm not buying this Amare stuff really, and if actual news of it ever comes out, we can make a thread then.
