LOL....So what now? If this mean end of Pau, then we are planing to play Wallace at starting PF position, and trade Pau for some point guard and someone else.... Hereeee we gooo. This weekend will be the D day in Lakers history.

We are not going to let Pau go. Not with the PF's we have on the bench, just no way. I don't understand how people are thinking this (possible) signing is signifying Pau's end here.

Agree 100%. The Lakers are the gold standard for NBA franchises ...

I don't think Dwight can handle the pressure of carrying a franchise. More would be expected of him if he came here. He's similar LeBron in that way ... he would rather not have the expectations of being the top dog.

that is way to many to handle, something is in the works.

The Lakers need depth at center and pf. Murphy and McRoberts are not real big men. Signing Wallace doesn't necessarily mean Gasol is going to be traded. I see Wallace replacing a lot of what Odom used to bring (not all of it). He can play defense, post up, or space the floor and shoot 3.

I couldn't agree more. Playing center for the Lakers is an honor and a privilege. If playing with Kris Humphries and Jordan Farmar is more enticing...best of luck, let us know how that goes.

Or McBob will start. Lakers have shown they play better with a Bynum + McBob combo rather than a Bynum + Murphy combo. If Pau is gone, we gotta get a stud at PG or nice pieces at PG and SF, no matter how unrealistic it may seem at this point.
