We get older at the 4 postion, and he's not a long term solution. I wouldn't mind if we can find relegate to the bench or find somebody else that KG can groom once he retires. Other than that, I just wouldn't want to get older. Kobe has 2 years left, maximum. We have to start preparing for his exodus by preparing now by rebuilding this team around Bynum. KG, a great player, just doesn't fit that direction of the team we need to go in; however, I'm not Mitch, and if he's cheap enough, the FO might just sign him...
I think he's right, anyone who thinks Kobe has more then 2 years at a high level is not seeing things clearly to put it lightly. Not saying he's retiring, but unless he is ok with being the 2nd or 3rd option in a few years, then he won't be around for long. I'm gonna enjoy every game he plays. Greats like him are rare.

No thanks, he's old, i hate him, he'll be beyond done very soon (i love his passion though).
People here don't want KG? Sorry, but i'm sick of watching Pau's soft ***. KG is still elite from midrange, and still might be the best defender in the league. Pau and Bynum get punked on the pick and roll all day every day, and it would be a breathe of fresh air to see someone like KG come in here and show us how it's done.
