I was just wondering if what I heard is true. Is Rob really gonna re-sign tomorrow(16th). If so I will be :man11:

I haven't heard anything yet. I know that Dallas made an offer, but that's it, I think.

I hope horry takes that. He stated in an interview that he wouldn't accept anything less than 2 mil.

Once again, the Lakers can offer him as much as they want. It shouldn't even matter to us how much they spend on him, its Mr. Buss' money. Its not like we are spending 3 mil. on Rob that we could spend on someone else (except for Samaki, Murray, Shaw, Madsen, etc.) Either you want him or you don't want him, money is not an issue except for Buss.

Well I for one don't want him, we don't need another 3/4 combo we need a center or a shooter, or both.

Horry has been proven a considerable asset during the time he's spent in LA. To not sign him, should he be willing to re-sign for such a reduced package, would be plain insanity.

perhaps not insanity so much as it is cutting our losses. We need a new look with new personel and Horry is not part of this gameplan.

Well you'll get no arguement from me there. But how many sf/pf do we need? i hate to be repetitive but adding Horry would be overstocking.

look basketball is a bussiness, if Mitch was so concerned about keeping Laker heroes he would not have waived A.C. Green prematurely.
