Kobe's accuser's friends on the Abrams Report on MSNBC

There were two girls that Dan Abrams interviewed, one a good friend of the accuser and one a "not real close, but good friend" of the accuser (supposedly). He asked them about the character of the accuser, and both stated that they didn't think that she would lie. During the interview, Abrams played a clip from another classmate of theirs who said that the accuser always wants to be in the spotlight and that she thought it was totally fitting that she said Kobe raped her. This other classmate said she didn't believe a word of it. The two girls being interviewed were your typical pop-star wannabes who would rather talk about their choir trips and dance team rather than what actually happened. One of the girls was so stupid she said the girl's name, which NBC of course bleeped out. Pointless interview, except that it shows how dumb teenagers are.

Also, this physical evidence that is coming in will probably give us an idea of first, whether they had sex at all, and then, if that sex was forced. The sheriff's persistance makes me think that the sex thing is a possibility, and that pisses me off. But I'm gonna wait till tomorrow before I say anything else.

Does anyone know if one of the friends was the same person who was also on Good Morning America today? On that show, the friend, Starlene Bray, said that the accuser "is upset over a media stakeout outside her home in Eagle, Colo." (what did she expect?) and encouraged the friend to speak publicly "to tell everybody who she was and what kind of person she was and to try to get the newspapers and everything like that to settle down on her." I'm curious about whether these friends are being paid for their interviews.

I'm the Grand Daddy, born in L.A. in 72'. Yeah the year they went 33 wins in a row. Only to lose #34 to Lew Alcindor. But that's cool, cause they still got the title, and BAM, I popped out into the world. Laker fan since.
