There are no more rumors to the Malone/Payton signings according to the three damn credible sources. So, everyone who's saying that there's a chance someone might try to sign them away, they ditch us, or us doing a sign and trade involving either of them is full of B.S. Malone and Payton, as much as I think they are a bunch of hotheaded, egotistical, dirty bunch, they should be applauded and given more respect now. I commend both of them on keeping their word and doing the opposite of what 99.9% of the NBA players do, take less money for the almighty ring. As much as Malone was a jerk when he was with Utah, he is now our jerk. (thank goodness) No longer battling against us, but battling with us. Payton might be cocky and egotistical, but he's gonna be getting into our opponents' heads now. The great news is the both signed multi-year deals. Malone for two years and Payton was not disclosed. Can we say better than the Bulls or anyone else (except for maybe the Celtics of yesteryear)? This season is already exciting and the season won't even start for another 3 months. I still don't know if I trust Kupchak as GM. However, Shaq is the man. He convinced both to come to LA. He's gonna be back with a chip on his shoulder in the form of Malone and Payton.[/url]
