Mike Brown FIRED!!! (pg 126 via USA TODAY)

We would be 0-5 if we didn't get gifted the Pistons. Any semi-decent team would have beat us......

But Hey, 1-12 is stellar.

I honestly see no progress from preseason game 1 until now. None. It's the same Lakers team vs. a different team, but the results, the problems, everything is still the same.....and that has to change.

No passion, that's because nobody wants to play for this idiot.
Morris plays? Meeks doesn't play? Metta the backup 2? Doesn't want to play the pick n roll? When Nash is here he can't be Steve Nash?

1-4

hope he is gone by tomorrow morning.

I agree. Pau can no longer play power forward for one. He's a center playing power forward, and its hurting our defensive rotations. Kobe was lost out there as well. But I think Pau's ineffectiveness is at the heart of the issues.

Delusional! The Jazz were just trying to run out the clock. LA had no chance to win. Don't kid yourself, Mike.

It was Kobe ball down the stretch and depending on how Kobe looked out there, you need to make a change to the coaching before the players start turning on each other. LA can't AFFORD that...literally.

If Sloan is a real possibility, you HAVE to find a way to make that happen.

alot of it can be solved though with Brown gone

And the world's second tallest midget can become the world's tallest midget with the tallest midget gone.... that doesnt make you tall.

we have had bad coaches in the past, we have had bad players in the past, and mike brown has won back to back 60 win seasons with a worse roster. not saying mb is not the primary problem, i am saying our problems go beyond just him.

One of the members here on CL said it best - the Lakers look like a Jazz musician who is forced to play Country.

No passion in this music called basketball.

i also wish the players and coaches would stop talking about turnovers as if thats the main thing. even when we dont turn it over we look horrible.... there is no flow offensively at all.

Fire Mike Brown ‏@FireMikeBrown24
ONLY Mike Brown would take a 20-second timeout down by 7 with less than 20 seconds left. No Mike, there isn't a 7-point play. #FireMikeBrown

Mike's been so outcoached by every coach so far. I wouldn't be surprise if Popovich can coach a girl high school basketball team to beat this Laker squad right now.

True. But for the sake of the analogy, let's just say that this Jazz musician hates Country...and not only can you hear it, you can see it.

Coaches take timeouts in those situations to practice out-of-timeout plays...not that Mike Brown has any plays, but that's what other coaches do.

This team in it's current state will be a first round playoff exit.
1. Flawed scheme
2. Flawed personel
3. Flawed coaching

Can't overcome all 3 of those. Checkmate we are done be happy folks hopefully the mike brown era will be ending soon

I agree that the Lakers problems go further than Mike Brown. However, MB had the luxury of having a great playmaker in LeBron. MB just let him do what LeBron does best which is facilitate. I think with Cleveland it was easier for MB to coach because he had one guy with superior talent to everyone else. In the present situation, MB doesn't understand how to meld all the different players many of whom are top players, plus he is trying to fit a square peg into a round hole with the Princeton Offense.

What MB should have done was start the season off with PnR to allow the team to build some chemistry and cohesiveness with all the new players and then start to add elements as they go along.

If this continues MB will be fired because the Lakers will have to make a move to ensure that there is excitement still in the product.

Meanwhile Adelman without 2 of his best players is finding ways to win. Could you imagine us without Kobe and Dwight right now?

Just sayin...
