Mike Brown, is young. A guy with good ideas and maybe might even come to be a great coach one day. But his meathods weren't working here, his substitution pattern was just awful. I'm sure as he continues with his career, he'll see the ways in which he messed up in. But right now, we don't need that. We having aging stars that need a ring asap.

Phew. I am safe. First post re: Brown is this for me:

Yup. The Brown hire was a rookie move by Jimmy. Overcompensation for a weakness (defense) while forgetting about your strength (offense).

Most cases, balance is the key to success. Which should have meant hiring Adelman or Shaw + Brown as a defensive coach.

that's like cognitive dissonance. nearly everyone hated this hiring but were trying to find silver linings anywhere possible to convince themselves they were happy with the hire.
