Well......... when you look at it this way it makes me feel better because Phil wins it all by a landslide. Plus Pringles is still in pain from his surgery he recently had and won't be able to be with the team for there practices for a little bit.

Phil for LIFE!

That was exactly what I thought when I read that from Karl. He was licking his chops to get another shot at Brown in the playoffs.

It was stupidity, everytime they showed that graphic the anchors would laugh and say how unfair or how uncool it was to cut Brown that quick, by using those ridiculous comparisons to other sports.

^^^ exactly. I don't think most of these media analysts watch all the games like we do. They wouldn't defend him if they did.

On Mike Brown firing, Nuggets coach George Karl said “it’s drastic and dramatic”

George Karl is fiercely loyal to the coaching fraternity. And he’s fiercely opinionated when it comes to a coach being fired, in his eyes, prematurely. So here were Karl’s words Friday night about the Lakers’ firing of Mike Brown after a 1-4 start:

“It’s a bad day for basketball, it’s a sad day for coaching, I think it’s a disappointing day and disrespectful day for the situation. I don’t even know how to phrase it. I talked to 3-4 coaches. There’s just disillusionment about the whole thing. How can this happen? Why did it happen? It’s drastic and dramatic, and I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of it.”

Pop and Karl just know their favorite championship preventer is on his way back. They thought they or rid of him

Haha especially Karl. Has he ever beaten a Jackson coached team?

As for the BSPN comparison, its not valid no matter how you look at it, and really odd to be honest.

ESPN just has too much time on their hands with airing 24 SportsCenter shows per day, they often fill time with some weird stuff.

Other coaches are scared. That's the way it should be.

love the comments from pop and karl regarding brown getting fired

it clearly shows they're scared that phil might be coming back. brown was the one thing keeping the lakers from contending

assistant coach did well tonight getting guys to just go out there and have fun. and also managed the starters minutes VERY well. Pau played 40 mins but that's only bc Dwight's foul trouble.

bernie bickerstaff in a wtf-i-guess-i'll-coach moment with proper rotations and minutes management. and the win!

an emphatic exclamation mark to end the mike brown chapter. good riddance.
