CJ Miles drawing interest from Lakers (signing w/Cavs)

Which ever one takes less money....that's our guy. But try and get both....that would be huuuge for our bench. positions 2,3,4 would be pretty stacked. lets do it! ASAP

Some nice blocks for sure. When I read on twitter a day ago that we had strong interest in Miles I was thrilled. Just the guy we would need off the bench. I know Jazz fans complain that he can be a little trigger happy at times but I'd like that on our bench as we usually don't have enough guys who are confident in their games.

I also think him coming to LA and having a chance to play for a winner would give him more passion during games as that is another thing Jazz fans complained about him. Being in the spot light night in and night out along with having high bball IQ players like Kobe, Nash, and Pau helping him out would do wonders for him!!

Actually, I'd say he didn't choke on the Playoffs and even played better. The thing is... he is too bad, so playing better in his case really isn't enough.

Blake definitely isn't a choker. He may not be a great player, but he's definitely not a choker.

Blake is inconsistent, just like most of the players on this team except his would be more extreme like his gm 1 against Den (4 or 5 3's) to gm 2-3-4-5 (couldn't do much) etc before doing well in gm 7 (4 3's).

Pretty much agreed. I like CJ Miles, think he's a good young player, and actually I do think he's worth the mini-MLE for some team - just not ours. I feel like Meeks is a better fit for the Lakers.

Yeah I mean it would be nice to have him because he's young, but still experienced. But for our team, I think we can make it without him. Meeks is more valuable to us.

I think Miles is likely asking for the mini-MLE from us and we're telling him no.

I'm actually glad. We need wing players that can hit a semi-consistent 3 ball. Still hoping for Meeks, or will settle for Barbosa. Any news out there on Delfino?

Not often free agents choose Cavs over Lakers. But guys usually like idea of playing for Byron Scott more than Mike Brown.

Well that sucks, but it's not the end of the world. Miles is nothing special. Hopefully we can still get Barbosa or Meeks.
