Source says Dwight Howard met with Magic CEO Alex Martins and owner Rich DeVos this afternoon, informing them that he'll opt-in next season.

By the way, this came out of nowhere. Those close to Dwight Howard were STUNNED when he told them his decision this mornin

because Deron will head to Dallas if he becomes a free agent, might as well get VALUE in return when you can. Its pointless for Deron to stay in New Jersey

it's a no brainer because they know Dwill isn't gonna resign with them this summer especially with Dwight staying put. They have until tmr to find a better deal. Who can give them a better deal than us? Lakers can give Pau and 2 1st rounders.

I don't think the Nets want to pay Gasol's relatively large salary while not being a contender....

I love Pau Gasol, but Deron Williams is very tempting. He wasn't the point guard I had envisioned for us. Great player, though.
