its because they saw how Bynum was acting like a baby. is he hormonal or something? Last 2 weeks have been really weird with him

Wow..... can't believe this is still open..... The thought that you would trade a player for getting ejected twice in one season is ludicrous..... Even is said player has been difficult and a little immature.... Kobe would have never made it through his 5th season for us if that were the case.... Remember Kobe has been on the verge of getting suspended for too many technicals...... Everyone seems to blame Bynum for getting technicals for being immature...... what was Kobe when he nearly got suspended then?.....

Everyone needs to relax and reflect on two things..... first he is a huge part of our team and we aren't going very far without him...... second and most important.... we will never get equal value for him. Those who think Howard is available to the Lakers are delusional and ignoring the facts and reports to the contrary....

Imma change the course of this thread. I love what Andrew is doing. He's bringing back old school to this league full of marshmallow thugs who make the game embrassing to watch at times. Him and Gasol like to talk, and I enjoy it. Rockets bench can clap all they want, cause in the end, we know they won't make it very far. And if we ever see this particular group in playoffs, it'll be Andrew laughing on the bench watching them walk off losing the playoffs... That is all.

Get over it, I love Drew's attitude towards the opposition. So what he go tossed, the game was lost for other reasons other than Drew.

i'm fine with Drew with us. I don't want Dwight in LA even with all his Talent and everything and the biggest reason why i don't want him in LA is because he doesn't want to be in LA. If we trade for him it's going to be a waste and he is just going to not sign with us and we not only lose Drew we also lose Dwight. Trading for Dwight now that Dwight has revealed his distaste of LA would be the most stupid thing in the world.

I don't take those reports seriously unless Dwight was quoted as saying that himself.

What I can do is quote Dwight Howard on anyone in the L he wants to play with and he said Kobe Bryant.

Makes sense. Only seriously consider the reports that say what you want to hear.

thats not happening. you'd see pau traded for a PF, SF combo before drew.

drew is here to stay

I'm not saying we should. I'm just curious to why every time Bynum's name comes up for a trade it has to be Howard. You would be trading 1 baby for another.

I have to agree with the OP on this one.

Look back at Dwight and Drew's history. Dwight has never acted like Bynum in games --> being careless, visibility showing that he doesn't care, being super immature.

Dwight acts immature off the court but on the court, I've never seen it.

But really, if you get a chance to trade Bynum for Dwight, you do it and you do it without thinking twice.

^ Have you not seen Magic games this year? Multiple times when they were getting absolutely destroyed Howard was seen laughing on the bench and on the court as well.

notsureifserious

I still remember when dude was chatting up a group of fans in the '10 ECF and Rashard actually had to go over and tell Dwight where to go for the inbound pass. JVG even went out of his way to point out how Howard wasn't paying attention.

Off the top of my head....

1.) Knicks game this year....laughing on the bench and telling Knicks fans to cheer louder in a game the Magic got blownout.

2.) New Jersey Nets game....Ryan Anderson on the floor, D12 comes over and acts like he is using a defibrillator on him.

3.) Bulls game.....Glen Davis goes to the floor in 4th quarter....D12 acts like he is using a defribillator on him.

4.) Don't remember the game....D12 and Jameer get benched for awful play and they can be seen laughing and not taking things too serious at all. Also refused to join team huddle.

5.) Don't remember the game....D12 gets called for a travel or offensive foul...he takes ball walks to halfcourt, turns and throws/rolls the ball away from ref....delay of game/technical.

Now throw in him never taking anything serious and dancing around pre-game and all the stuff he has done off the court. Among other things that I might have missed like Bruddah's example in the post above, how can you people say they've never seen D12 do anything immature before?

Why in the world would we trade him? Here's how this works:

a) If he's healthy, he's among the best and it would be silly to trade such great, young player.

b) if he's not healthy (read: The Knee!), then no one will want him anyway.

It's not unheard of for top level centers to change teams and win championships with their new teams. Wilt did. Kareem did. Shaq did.

Do we really want to reverse that pattern?

Regarding OP last comment about it not being a Drew thread...then WHY DID YOU TITLE IT "WE NEED TO TRADE DREW"

smh. some people just don't even read nowadays. it's just...oh look, dwight wants out, he's dpoy, year...blah blah blah.

look at what dwight's also done this year: demand a trade, take back his demand, ask to fire his own coach, said he's not going to sign an extension to test the free agent market, said he doesn't want to be "in shaq's shadow"

yeah...love his "character".

meanwhile, this guy wants to trade what is the 2nd best center in the league, who still has a desire to win despite already having 2 CHAMPIONSHIPS, hmm...DPOY say what? and is ALREADY averaging numbers just below dwight despite being a 2nd option.

ha.

Turrible thread. I really still am failing to understand the Bynum hate.
Every time I begin to ask, "Is he really as great as I think he is?" ...He proves that he is.
Every time I begin to wonder...He proves it...That is why I won't lose hope in him.
You know who I am talking about.

I guess it's not a popular opinion here that Dwight is still far better than Bynum and easily more durable.

Even if Dwight is more immature, I'd still trade Bynum for him in a second.

You do know that Dwight practically gets 20 rebounds on the regular right? He has had plenty and also plays at a DPOY level.

I am glad he is playing well because his stock can be high in terms of trade value.

Also, I don't know what he was trying to do with Blake there. This will overshadow the 30 rebound game. We will be talking about it than his 30 rebounds.

EDIT: 20
