Open petition to fire Mike Brown, just sign name here

Dear Jim Buss -
We the fans of the Los Angeles Lakers request that you fire Mike Brown immediately. He is not a satisfactory head coach for a championship team. We need someone who knows about winning, not counting stats. You have a ton of money from your Time Warner deal and can afford this and it does not affect the team cap. You are burning away the remainder of Kobe's years. Either Van Gundy is available... and I hope you are not too stubborn to consider Phil Jackson. I offer up $1 of my own money, and will gladly start a trust account to collect any other fan donations to go towards paying the remainder of Mike Brown's contract to go away. But please acknowledge this terrible mistake hiring... and accept that responsibility... and fix this.
Signed,
38 year Lakers season ticket holder

I'll give you 1 dollar, once you fork them season tickets over to me.

This reminds me of that episode of Friends where Joey writes an adoption recommendation for Monica and Chandler and the agency likes it because they think M&C had a child write it for them.

And it is time for the retardedness to begin..... I'll have to stay away from LD and find somewhere else to talk Lakers stuff.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Reporter: "Jim, what was the primary factor that contributed to your decision to relieve Mike Brown of his head coaching duties?"

Buss: "Well, we all were on the fence about it to be honest. But then one of our interns saw this petition on ClubLakers. It was brought to my attention by my staff. At that point, we really didn't have a choice."

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

BEST VIDEO EVER ... AND AND THE SECOND BEST.

When has an online petition ever accomplished the thing it was trying to?
