KOBE BRYANT made his first public appearance since news broke about his arrest on suspicion of sexual assault at last night's ESPY Awards. The Lakers great arrived after the show began with his wife, VANESSA, on his arm. Pop singer BRANDY also ventured out to the ceremony, making her first public showing since her split with husband ROBERT SMITH. In 1996, Kobe brought Brandy to his prom and she tells ET she was shocked when she heard the news about the allegations. "I was really shocked, 'cause Kobe is great. He's a gentleman, so I don't know anything," she said to our own MARK STEINES, telling Kobe to, "Keep your head up, keep your chin up, don't let people get to you." Also at the event, 'Chicago' star TAYE DIGGS said, "My gut reaction is someone's making something up and the press is runnin' with it." And "24"'s KIEFER SUTHERLAND offered, "It's obviously sad for both parties. [Let's] hope it gets dealt with properly."
If we are all thinking alike, then nobody is thinking!
