Time to ban eltoro

I think he's a full fledged troll. He is clearly acting stupid so he gets everyone's attention, but it's becoming more and more obvious that he's acting. Nobody talks like that in real life....the way he talks is very unusual. I know he hasn't broken any rules, but I really think he's just a troll and he's derailing every single thread with his stupidity. It is causing all of us to call him out constantly, and it takes away from the thread at hand. I can count at least 5 threads where this has happened....where a full 3 pages is dedicated to eltoro bashing. Nobody can be this stupid where you get bashed constantly and you continue to ignore OBVIOUS FACTS about the CBA that we've all detailed.

Mods, what do you think should happen? I vote to ban him immediately.

We've been talking about him. Some mods believe he's a troll, some not so sure.

But unless someone breaks the rules baddly, or repeatedly, or pretty much all the mods agree they are a troll, we don't ban.

We actually really try to have a ban as the last resort.

I don't think being stupid, or perhaps acting that way for attention, is against the TOS. In the end if we ignore him the nonsense will stop or at least decrease.

Not sure if he's a troll or not but I agree its gotten out of hand. I agree with Barns, I think we should all just ignore him. If he is in fact a troll, then we're just doing exactly what he wants by calling him out.

IMO, he seems like he's either a troll or he's a young kid. No adult IMO could be smart enough to know how to use a PC, register and log on to a website, and post on a message board and be dumb enough to post what he does.

If he's a troll, then he does a pretty good job of making himself look like he's just a village idiot.

I still can't get over the fact that he even entertained the thought of Jeff Goldblum having inside information about Dwight. Seriously, WTF?

Maybe time for some to test out the "ignore" button feature.

What an idiot! Jason Kidd should be kicked out of the NBA. I'm serious! The NBA needs to be tougher on stuff like this. When you drink and drive, you can kill someone. I wish our laws would be tougher on drunk drivers. Drinking and driving is really the equivalent of attempted murder. Jason Kidd needs to be in jail and kicked out of the NBA.

It's hard to ignore stupidity when it reaches ridiculous levels, but you're right. I guess only the RR members will know to ignore him...while everyone else will continue to call him out. I still say we ban him though....it just derails threads constantly. Good thing news has been slow....

The bashing is fun, but it's dangerous. There is a time for harsh words, I think, but the fear is that if we enjoy it we'll start to lose good judgment about when to bash and when not. So I'm through with the Goldblum pictures (For him, at least; I love them in general).

That's what I'm thinking too. I feel like he's baiting us into bashing him when he posts. I really think he needs to be banned.

Oh and this KeepBynum character is starting to get on my nerves too. Never noticed him until recently.
