You NEVER tank a game in the playoffs.

dumbest thing I hear is tanking games....ESPECIALLY in the playoffs.

If we go up 3-0 I am not condoning tanking, but I could see Denver just playing a willful game and beating us.

With the way we let Denver hang around in our building in game 2, I don't think this situation is something we have to think about.

I can imagine Kobe's opinion about tanking a game, let alone a Playoffs game.

Well, I COULD see a scenario where you consider it. Say we are up 3-0 against a team like Utah in the WCF and we would have homecourt against a tough team like Chicago (with Rose) or Miami and Kobe gets suspended for 1 game.

Tanking then would make sense. But for MWP, in a series where we do not have homecourt no I dont think you do that.

It is like pocket aces in poker. You almost always play them, but, there are situations where the correct play is to fold them preflop.-

I think that this will go 6 games. Nuggets didn't exactly roll over yesterday.

Had we been playing in Denver, their 3s would have fallen more. And we may have been blown out.

never never tank. It messes up your team rythm and insults the game of basketball.

Also, look at Rose. Freak injuries can happen at any time. You dont poke fate in the eye.

The Lakers have a tendency to lose Game 3 on the road when they've won the first two at home. In the Gasol era they're 1-6

If more of their 3's had gone in, we'd be staring at 1-1 instead of 2-0. The effort will be there, but methinks they will drop at least one game, maybe both in Denver. Something about the home cooking...
