Tracy Mcgrady better then kobe?

This topic is about which one is better. So dunking is a part of that too... 4real, drop the profanity, or use some astericks or somethin. Kobe is just the better all around player, and T-Wack isn't even on his level until he can get his act together, which aint gonna happen anytime soon. Kobe has done so much more for the league, so just leave it as that.

I don't know what to say about some people on this board. Yes, everyone has opinions but please have some facts to support your opinion. If a "real" Laker fan depends upon me hating or not recognizing others abilities; then I guess I'm not a "real" laker fan. But, I bet no one can say I don't know basketball. I've realized that its several individuals on this board that don't have a clue about basketball. Also, I hear so many people on this board stating that they are Laker fans, but clearly they are Kobe fans. And that's the problem. Kobe is part of the Lakers and the team is bigger than the player. I'm a Laker fan, I like Kobe because he plays for the Lakers. To be perfectly honest with folks on this board, my two favorite players are non-lakers....KG and AI are my favorite players. And for those of you who say I can not be a real Lakers fan and not consider a Laker my favorite player... I say the hell with you. This reminds me of the topic on the Kobe case. I stated that if any of this was true about Kobe, that I would lose respect for him as a person. And, some idiot stated that I was a real Kobe fan, because a Kobe fan wouldn't lose respect for him.

Sure people do have preference over other players, which doesn't bother me one bit. Cuz like any basketball fan, I give props where it's deserved. I don't like Duncan, but he's a good player. Even though I like the Lakers as a team 1st, still I like the players that play for the team, but players come and go, and the logo stays the same. Some players play better under a different system. Kobe plays behind Shaq, which makes Kobe the better player. He has to tend to the big fella, and he has to get his points, rebounds, and all that too. T-Wack's only needs are for himself, and to at least make an effort for his team to get them theirs. That's why kobe's the better player, cuz he can deal with bein the 2nd man on the team, and still play good ball, unlike T-Wack when he played behind Vince a while back.

Again, you just made my point. And T-Mac has other shooters on his team? T-Mac doesn't shoot buzzer beaters. And, I stated in my first post that I am talking about 02-03 stats. Just because Kobe made, what 10 3pts. So that makes Sprewell a great shooter? Because he went 9-9 for 3's.

o yeah and t-wack has a lower free throw percentage every year then kobe

It's not about the percentages ELF, it's about how they contribute on the floor. Work ethic, and hustle isn't a part of the stats, which Kobe has over T-Wack.

Here we go again...and by the way...GUEST....your fact-statin that T-Mac is a better shooter....no he's not....My OPINION is not a fact, but I believe Kobe's got a better shooting form and technique. If your facts are depending on last season's statistics...then here's another fact ...Kobe had two off-season surgeries, how many did T-mac have?
