Well it could be a concusssion(most likely) and Kobe doesn't want the NBA to know and have him forced to sit out.

Or worst case scenario (tumor)

(I only suggest the latter because a similar incident happened when Tony Gonzalez when he was on the Chiefs accidentally knocked a cameraman out and it turned out he had a tumor and they caught it early)

Neurologist's review of Kobe determines a concussion was suffered. Kobe will be re-evaluated tomorrow. Could still play tomorrow night.

Next two games are Wolves and Kings. If Kobe needs a short rest, I wouldn't mind it because I actually want to see how we do against those teams without him.

He got suspended for "unnatural basketball act" or whatever so he'd probably be suspended for two games.

GM Mitch Kupchak announced that Devin Ebanks was recalled from the @DFenders. He avg'd 18.3 P, 6.0 R & 2.0 S in 3 games.

The entire game players were letting each other go by one another. Even in the 4th quarter players were conceding dunks and layups and this guy gets beat, pulls on Kobe's jersey, and then hits him in the face. The first thing out of his mouth was "He fouled me twice" and now we're supposed to assume his apology was sincere? If you're going to be a douche then be a douche but don't insult our/my intelligence.

@Mike_Bresnahan Just looked at NBA's new concussion policy. There's only a slim chance Bryant plays Weds vs. Minn. Among the particulars of new policy...

@Mike_Bresnahan Players must be symptom-free for 24 hours and then go through increasingly tough stages of exercise w/o showing symptoms after each stage.

@Mike_Bresnahan Stages include stationary bike, jogging, agility work and non-contact drills. Then NBA concussion doctor would have to be consulted.

Against the T'wolves, at Staples, if Kobe's isn't 100%, rest him. You should be able to beat Minnesota at home even without Kobe, and it would be interesting to see who steps up (hopefully it's Pau)

Since it looks like he most likely won't be able to play tomorrow, he might as well just take the next 2 games off to rest. Make sure he doesn't have any lingering symptoms. Hopefully he will be ready to go Sunday.

I never really had a problem with Wade but after this, I can't stand this guy. :man2:
I should get an assist for that. It's an intentional pass to oneself, so it's an assist. That way people can't say all I do is shoot.

I really dislike Wade's comments in all of this. Video I saw of him today being interviewed and asked about it he said he apologized to Kobe and it wasn't intentional, but then like a minute later he's talking about how he's not going to get down on his hands and knees and ask for forgiveness 'like some people want'. I simply don't get why he didn't stop after the first comment, why throw that other part in there, again acting like a victim, showing that IMO he really isn't sorry about it at all, seriously F Dwyane Wade. That he really comes across as not sorry bugs me, if it were Kobe that did this to Wade and was barely apologetic he'd have been fined or suspended.
