The new line up

Don’t get me wrong I want to see Andrew Bynum play along Gasol, Kobe, LO, and D Fish more then anyone but I dont think that would be the best option for the Lakers as a team when Bynum finally returns. These are the two units I think would be best:

1st unit:
D. Fish
Kobe
Lamar
Turiaf
Gasol

2nd unit:
Famar
Sasha
Ariza
Vlad
Bynum
Okay now hear me out, for the first unit I think with Andrew in there it might be a little to much fire power if that makes any sense. I mean the ball has to get to Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, and at times even Lamar. And definitely dont forget D fish I mean just a few years ago he wanted out because he wanted a bigger role. If we sub the long 6′10 Turiaf in at PF we could be a lot more balanced not only at the starting five but ultimately the whole team. Turiaf is an instant energizer. Yes he might not be the outstanding shot blocker that you get with Bynum, but he is extremely scrappy on both ends of the court. He can be the glue for the first unit although not through points, but with his attitude, effort, scrappiness, and chemistry.
For the second unit I think this would be a better fit for Bynum. First and foremost he has just suffered a big injury. When he gets back I want him to be back at a hundred and ten percent. I want him to be back to playing shape and that could take a while after being side lined for so long. Second I believe Bynum could do wonders coming off the bench because he being the great player that he is would dominate any back up center the league has to offer. His mins may drop but he will have maximum efficiency coming off the bench. I also like this second unit because of two things that it offers. They are extremely athletic with the young Farmar , Ariza, and of course Bynum so we can run and gun with the Golden Sate Warriors. As well as spread the floor with Sasha and Vlad to keep up with the Phoenix Sun’s shooting ability. Here is a great scenario in the half court set we can dump it to Bynum in the low post where he would command a double team then he passes it to either Sasha of Vlad whom are both great shooters. With this line up I believe we can sustain a lead in any game and when our starters sit down we can extend the lead. Congrats boys! Its back to those glory days. O how sweet it is
