first off, let's be clear. the man who can render solid defense, make entry passes, run the floor, and shoot 3's, is all we want as our starting SF.
so someone like hedo turkeglu, who need the ball in his hands, is gonna go out of our sights.
1.trade ammo+fish for prince and then let pistons buy out fisher, we resign him with ver minimum
pistons already have charlie v, no need to keep a 10M caliber SF. with two expring contract, pistons may have about 15M cap space again next year to compete for a superstar.
2.trade ammo+farmar for posey+someone.
Hornets need to reduce their salary threshold. they are already over the luxury tax line. this trade certainly help them save their budget for both 09-10 and 10-11 season, and give them a backup PG solution they are looking all over the past season.
3.Sign ron artest with full MLE
ariza is not as strong and powerful as ronron. facing a team with that type of SF's, both kobe and ariza found it hard to defend'em. ronron and kobe might be a better solution, since they have diversified defense specializations.
4.sign shawn marion with (somewhat) MLE
marion is way less athletic, but still a decent defender and a good specilist in fast breaks. he's also a great rebounder. imagine pau/lamar/marion would be a nightmare for our oponents as far as rebounding is concerned.
5. sign matt barnes with vet minimum
his last year's contract was just a huge steal. the reason he signed that contract was he didnt want to leave the west coast. now we could lure him with the same reason plus the championship possibility.
if you care about the performance/cost ratio, he'll be the best option.
