Andrew Bynum?

Why don't we have an interest to bring him cheap? I would welcome him back in the off season to a prove it deal. Kid never was the same once he left LA. For a cheap one year deal why not? I would want him now but might ruin the tank

I don't see Bynum coming back here. Even if he did, I doubt he's going to come back to be coached by Mike D'Antoni of all people.

I'd sign him next season for sure. Vet min, sign me up.

And Dan's wet dream too ^^^ lumbering 290lb Bynum …. to bring back his glory years with Shaq dropped in his lap. But not that good.

I don't think Bynum wants to come back to the Lakers. Also, I don't think he fits the current team philosophy, or whatever you want to call it. Finally, I am honestly not sure if Bynum is that interested in playing basketball anymore. He could invest his money wisely and do something else instead, saving his knees in the process. If he is interested, someone is probably going to give him another chance.... but I bet that someone is not us.

Hope Bynum takes the year off. Give those knees some rest after two years of semi retirement. Being away from the game could also make him realize that gift of the nba is gone. I expect dantoni to get fired in the off season. I would take a flier on Bynum for cheap one year prove it deal.

I don't see time off motivating Bynum. He has never shown a love for the game, dislikes playing in pain and can live comfortably for the rest of his life. No, I think a season off would have the opposite effect.

Who wants to wager that he has already put on about 15 lbs since Potato banned him. A year off when he hurts too much to train in the off season like he used to be willing to do when his knees weren't jacked up …. yikes.

2009 and 2010 Bynum played thru injuries what are you talking about. Mike brown was a joke. Bynum earned his stripes as a laker. Don't bash him kid

:man10: What are you talking about, "kid"? That is pretty much what I was saying. Just that now it hurts too much especially for the off season like he used to be able to do. 2009 and 2010 wasn't a whole lot he could do in the off season, and yes he earned his stripes and played though injuries.

Actually, neither do I. But it's an option. If I had that money I know I would not get bankrupt any time soon.

i'd love to see him back with us but im pretty sure bynum wants to go to a contender (heat, clippers, pacers) and there is no way he'd want to come back to the lakers with dan tony as HC

if there's a way we could get him for cheap next season i'm all for it

Bynum already has rings. I think he likes who will pay him money or spotlight. Clippers have Jordan heat have oden pacers have Hibbert. Bynum has a big ego, you think he is going accept a bench role
